THINGS TO CONSIDER
Height requirements and rough opening size.
The lift has a minimum height requirement of 75" for clearance in the attic with a rough opening of 31.5" x 39". The lift can be installed in homes with 8’, 9’ and 10’ ceiling heights with this standard unit. Custom units can be built to accommodate any space.
Can you store in your attic?
The size and span of joists determine the amount of weight that can be supported in the attic. Professionals can help determine weight limits.
Is your attic staircase putting you at risk?
All attic staircases have weight limits and usually are exceeded when hauling packages into the attic. The lift hauls the heavy packages to the attic allowing you to safely climb up the ladder using both hands as intended. Not being able to use both hands could cause loss of balance and injury by falling to the floor below.
Needing storage?
The lift could eliminate costly storage buildings in yard or a monthly storage fee at an off-site location. The lift allows you to tap into unused space in your attic, helping to declutter home by storage items such as seasonal items, luggage, camping gear, fishing gear, spots equipment, house décor and many other items.
